DENTAL CLEANING/PROPHYLAXIS

Dental cleaning is recommended twice a year, this procedure removes plaque and stones, which are deposited in the teeth when brushing is not adequate.
There are several diseases that can affect the teeth and the tissues that surround them, the most common being Gingivitis and Periodontitis.
Prophylaxis removes plaque and dental bacteria.

APPLICATION OF FLUORIDE

Fluoride in varnish or gel form is recommended to prevent tooth decay.
The application of fluoride increases the resistance of the enamel, is antibacterial and remineralizes the enamel layer.
